Building and loan association

Schwäbisch Hall is Germany’s biggest building and loan association. Every fourth building savings contract is concluded with the market leader – in 2007 this equalled 870,000 new contracts worth a total of more than 27 billion euros. Since the monetary reform of 1948, the company co-financed more than seven million privately owned homes, rebuildings and refurbishments. In 2007 alone more than 200,000 financing projects were realized. 6.6 million clients in Germany and almost 4 million building society savers abroad trust in Schwäbisch Hall and its foreign associate companies.

Through the cooperative banks' approx. 12,000 branch offices with around 40,000 customer consultants and through its own 4,000 field managers Schwäbisch Hall is present throughout the whole of the Federal Republic.
